How Does the Service Work?

We are happy to provide you with complete “turnkey” plate heat exchanger servicing.

At a pre-agreed time, our team of experienced service technicians will arrive on-site, disassemble the exchanger, remove the set of plates and gaskets designated for service, and thoroughly clean the exchanger frame to prepare it for reassembly.

The plates and gaskets are transported to our modern service center, which meets all technical and environmental standards. We hold ISO 14001 certification – an environmental management system.

Chemical Cleaning (Optional Service)

If you order chemical cleaning, we first wash the plates with hot high-pressure water to remove coarse impurities. They are then immersed in an acidic or alkaline bath (depending on the type of contamination or plate material), where we apply our long-proven chemical mixture. The baths are heated to enhance effectiveness – resulting in a perfectly clean surface.

An important benefit of chemical cleaning is the 100% removal of grease, which could otherwise interfere with the penetrant test.

Penetrant Testing and Inspection (Optional Service)

After chemical cleaning and rinsing with clean water, we apply a special penetrant solution to the surface of the plates. Due to its high capillarity, the solution penetrates even microcracks, which are then revealed under UV light.

This inspection is carried out according to the prescribed PT instruction and exclusively by technicians qualified under ISO 9712 – the international standard for qualification of personnel in non-destructive testing.

Repair and Reassembly

Damaged plates are replaced with new ones from our stock. All plates are then re-gasketed. If adhesive bonding is required, we use a dedicated room with controlled conditions (temperature, pressure) to ensure maximum gasket adhesion to the stainless steel plate.

The fully prepared set of plates with new gaskets is reinstalled into the heat exchanger frame, followed by a hydrogen leak test to confirm 100% service quality.
